Our Choice of Words

Our choice of words

in times of sorrow,

could brighten up

someone’s tomorrow.

Our choice of words

just might reveal,

a hidden hope

we dare not feel.

Our choice of words

by means we impart,

could wound or soothe

a troubled heart.

Our choice of words

expressed just right,

might be through us

Christ’s shining light.

Finding Peace in Our Savior

meme from lds.org media library

I’ve been thinking a lot about peace today. When something evil happens in this world which I cannot comprehend, I know that there is something perfect and beautiful that I can hold onto, and that is my Savior’s love for me, and for you. He is the Prince of Peace. And as we come unto Him, as we live His gospel, as we love one another and follow His perfect example, we will feel a true and lasting peace fill our hearts. It is my prayer that those who are mourning the loss of their loved ones at this time, will find peace in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We Love You, Paris

Our hearts are aching.

Our prayers are continuous.

God bless you, Paris,

in this, your time of need.

May our Savior’s love enfold you.

We love you, Paris.

My daughter told me that “our” missionaries (from our church) who are serving in Paris are accounted for and safe. I feel for the families who have lost their loved ones. My heart is heavy and my prayers are ongoing.
